It takes time to build a better community but it begins with believing in better. We believe you
want more than just a house. You want a sense of place. You want to sit on your front
porch and enjoy the flowers in your yard, the landscaped boulevards
and the amazing mountain views. You want to live in a neighborhood where kids can safely walk
down sidewalks to visit friends and family and play in neighborhood parks.
You enjoy an active lifestyle and want to walk your dog and run, hike or bike on paved
trails that connect to business, shopping, schools and entertainment. You are community-minded and
appreciate energy conservation and protecting land, wildlife and water
resources.
And most of all, you value time to enjoy your home, your family and all that
Montana offers.
That’s why we believe in building a better community – because you believe in better!

Believe in Better: One Up, Three To Go!
Developer Mark Runkle stood before the Mayor and City Commissioners June 3 seeking final approval of Phase I of the Peaks neighborhood at Mountain View Meadows. “A lot of thought has gone into the Peaks,” said Runkle. “This area has been planned, replanned and re-replanned. Rebecca (Ryland, Director of Design) and I are excited to finally present Peaks I for your approval.” Runkle went on to thank City Manager, Tim Burton for his strong and expert leadership. “Subdividing is a daunting task with a plethora of regulations and standards to meet in order to create functional and sustainable communities,” said Runkle. “I want to thank the Department Heads, especially Chris Brink and Ryan Leland, for their guidance, and their staff for all their hours of dedicated work and assistance.” With final plat approved by a 4-0 vote, home construction can now begin on 64 single-family homesites and 77 condominiums to help ease the need and desire for housing in Helena. This phase alone will increase the availability of owner-occupied housing in the City by over 1.6%. Before the vote, Runkle took a final moment to thank Mayor Collins and City Commissioners for their steadfast support of responsible and sustainable development in Helena. With the Peaks up and rolling, Runkle and Ryland, along with field foreman Kris Baker and Engineer Greg Wirth and his talented staff at Stahly Engineering, can focus their attention on the next three phases of development at Mountain View Meadows. Craftsman Village Phase 8 will bring another 51 single-family lots online while Commercial Phases 4 and 5 will welcome to the community the new “Confluence” apartment complex and the new Great West Engineering office building beautifully designed by Mosaic Architecture.
